Our kitesurfing school, with more than 20 years’ experience was the first of its kind in Porto Pollo. Throughout the years we have developed an excellent and effective teaching method suitable for all people of all levels with beginners, intermediate, advanced, freestyle, kiteboard and foil board courses. All our courses are 1 to 1 individual to ensure maximum quality and speed of learning. Can I do a Kitesurfing course? Yes, if you know how to swim and are aged 9 and upwards.

BEGINNERS K1

Designed for those starting from zero. 6 lessons of 1/2 hours divided over 2 or 3 days.

FIRST STEP: THE BEACH

30" of theory in the classroom with a bar simulator and blackboard.

1st hour: using a 4 line trainer kite to practice on the beach.

2nd hour: assembly, deflating and steering a real kite.

SECOND STEP: IN THE WATER WITH JUST A WING

1st hour: Body drag in tandem with the instructor attached to the student to correct and help them at all times. Body drag is used to help students gain confidence using the board with upwind exercises.

2nd hour: Body drag on your own, using helmet-radios students are guided step by step to practice and repeat the exercises covered in the previous hour on their own.

THIRD STEP: IN THE WATER WITH A WING AND A BOARD

1st hour: In tandem with the instructor students learn how to take the board, insert their feet into the straps and stand on the board to simulate starboard and port tack starting.

2nd hour: Equipped with helmet-radios students practice their first starts on their own under the supervision of the instructor assisting them from the backup dinghy.
